CITRUS: Contemplative Integration of Trauma Repatterning & Unified Selfwork
A platform for decoloinal trauma healing and sacred research
— for those walking the line between collapse and creation.

CITRUS is not a technique. It’s a living mandala.

“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”

🌿 CITRUS™ Trauma Healing Groups

CITRUS (Contemplative Integration of Trauma Repatterning & Unified Selfwork) is a queer-centered, decolonial approach to trauma healing. It is not about fixing you — it is about remembering that you are not broken. Together we build safety, unlearn shame, reclaim story, and weave community.

We currently offer two pathways:

✨ CITRUS™ Therapy Group

A Deep-Dive Container for Queer Trauma Healing
8-Week Spiral (8 Sessions)

This is the core CITRUS program: an 8-week therapeutic group that meets once per week for 90 minutes. Together we move through structured themes of contemplative trauma healing, including somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed) parts work, narrative reclamation, and Buddhist psychology.

This group is designed for queer and questioning folks who want to deepen into trauma healing in community, while cultivating safety, compassion, and authentic belonging.

Includes:

  • 8 live weekly sessions (90 minutes each)

  • Weekly meditations & embodied practices

  • Worksheets and ritual guides

  • Dedicated Discord space for integration, resource-sharing, and community rhythm

Your Investment:

  • Insurance Accepted (including Medicaid): Most plans reimburse around $27–$30 per session (90 minutes). Your exact out-of-pocket cost depends on your plan.

  • Private Pay: $30 per session — $240 total for 8 weeks.

  • Payment: Required in full before group begins if paying out of pocket.

This pricing is intentionally accessible. The heart of CITRUS is not profit — it is collective healing and building a new model for trauma integration.

🌿 The Eight Sessions of the CITRUS Spiral

Week 1: Grounding & Orientation
Build the foundations of safety, ritual, and community. Arrive as you are — protector parts and all.

Week 2: Mapping the Inner Landscape
Begin IFS-inspired parts work, discovering who’s been leading your internal system and why.

Week 3: Trauma, the Nervous System, and Self-Compassion
Learn trauma physiology through a Polyvagal lens. Anchor into the body’s wisdom, not its pathology.

Week 4: Somatic Safety & Expressive Release
Practice embodied discharge, breathwork, and intuitive movement to begin releasing held stories and tension.

Week 5: Narrative Re-authoring & Voice Reclamation
Turn toward internalized shame and silence. Use writing and group process to rewrite what was once written for you.

Week 6: Collective Shadows & Ancestral Resonance
Explore the cultural and ancestral layers of your trauma. Honor grief and resiliency that did not begin with you.

Week 7: Integration, Worthiness & Embodied Identity
Repattern nervous system pathways to align with deeper truth. Practice self-acceptance as a sacred act.

Week 8: Ritual Closure & Re-entry
Weave what’s been reclaimed. Complete with ritual, reflection, and connection — leaving with tools, not just insights.

🌙 The CITRUS Spiral Unfolded

  • Ground & Gather: Safety, ritual, internal mapping

  • Reclaim & Re-Author: Parts work, somatic unburdening, grief processing

  • Return & Root: Ceremony, ancestral weaving, integration

Queer Trauma Research & Data Collection

CITRUS is a living framework. Part of the reason we are offering this group at such a low cost is to incentivize building research data for building this ongoing trauma modality. Participants will be invited (but never required) to take part in pre- and post-program self-assessments. These include short, evidence-based scales such as:

  • PCL-5 (measuring PTSD symptoms)

  • SCS (measuring self-compassion)

This data is collected confidentially and anonymously to support the long-term vision of developing CITRUS into a unique, integrative model of contemplative and decolonial trauma healing. You will be part of helping to create a non-pathologizing, decolonial, and contemplative model of healing.

Your choice to participate in data collection will never affect your group membership or care.
