🍊 Welcome to CITRUS™

CITRUS: Contemplative Integration of Trauma Repatterning & Unified Selfwork
A platform for decoloinal trauma healing and sacred research
— for those walking the line between collapse and creation.

CITRUS is not a technique. It’s a living mandala.

“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”

🌿 CITRUS™ Trauma Healing

One-on-One Therapy

CITRUS (Contemplative Integration of Trauma Repatterning & Unified Selfwork) is a person-centered, decolonial approach to trauma healing.

This work is not about fixing anything.
It is about remembering that you were never broken.

In our one-on-one work, we move at the pace of your nervous system—not the pace of expectation. Together, we build safety, unlearn shame, reclaim your story, and gently repattern the internal world you’ve had to survive within.

This is a relational space where all parts of you are welcome—even the ones that learned how to hide.

✨ CITRUS™ Trauma Therapy

A Deep, Personalized Container for Trauma Healing

This is ongoing, one-on-one therapy rooted in the CITRUS framework. Sessions are collaborative, intuitive, and grounded in evidence-based and contemplative practices.

Each session is tailored to your unique internal system, history, and current needs.

Together, we may explore:

  • IFS-informed parts work
Understanding and building relationship with protectors, exiles, and inner narratives

  • Somatic awareness & nervous system regulation
Working with embodiment as a source of wisdom rather than pathology

  • Narrative reclamation
Gently rewriting the stories that were shaped by trauma, culture, and survival

  • Buddhist psychology & contemplative practice
Cultivating compassion, presence, and non-identification with suffering

  • Queer & decolonial healing frameworks
Honoring identity, systemic impact, and collective layers of trauma

This work is not linear. It is spiral-shaped.
We return, deepen, and integrate—again and again.

🌿 What This Work Can Support

  • Trauma (acute, complex, developmental)

  • Queer identity exploration & affirmation

  • Religious trauma & deconstruction

  • Shame, self-worth, and inner criticism

  • Anxiety, depression, and nervous system dysregulation

  • Relationship patterns & attachment wounds

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

🧭 The CITRUS Spiral (How We Work Together)

While individual therapy is not structured in fixed “weeks,” the work often moves through three living phases:

Ground & Gather

Building safety, trust, and awareness of your internal landscape

Reclaim & Re-Author

Engaging parts work, somatic release, and narrative transformation

Return & Root

Integration, embodiment, and alignment with your deeper truth

We move fluidly between these phases depending on what arises in you.

💰 Investment & Logistics

  • Session Length: 50–60 minutes

  • Rate: $150 per session

  • Insurance: Accepted (including Medicaid, where applicable)

  • Format: Fully virtual (secure telehealth)

Consistency is an important part of this work. We typically begin with weekly sessions to build a strong therapeutic foundation.

🌱 A Different Kind of Healing Space

CITRUS is intentionally designed outside of purely clinical or pathologizing models.

This means:

  • You are not reduced to a diagnosis

  • Your symptoms are understood as adaptations, not failures

  • Your identity is honored, not treated as a variable to manage

  • Healing is relational, embodied, and meaning-making—not just symptom reduction

We are not trying to make you “function better” in a system that harmed you.
We are working toward something deeper: coherence, compassion, and self-leadership.

🌙 Future Offerings: Groups & Research

CITRUS is a living and evolving framework.

While current offerings are focused on individual therapy, future phases of this work will include:

🌿 Group Containers

  • 8-week CITRUS trauma healing cohorts

  • Ongoing integration circles for queer community support

  • Ritual-based and contemplative group experiences

These spaces will center collective healing, shared witnessing, and community-based integration.

🔬 Research & Data Collection

CITRUS is being developed as a formal research-informed therapeutic model.

Future participants (in both individual and group formats) may be invited—but never required—to contribute to anonymous data collection using evidence-based measures such as:

  • PCL-5 (PTSD symptoms)

  • Self-Compassion Scale (self-compassion)

  • PTSI-R (Traumatic Stress Index)

This research will support the long-term vision of building a non-pathologizing, decolonial, and contemplative model of trauma healing.

Participation will always be optional and will never affect your care.
